Swedish Massage — Swedish massage is generally a full-body massage designed to increase oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles. It has many benefits including: increasing circulation, soothing the nervous system, and reducing stress, both emotional and physical. Swedish massage feels good, is relaxing and promotes health and well-being.

Deep Tissue Massage — Deep Tissue Massage is a massage technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body. The work is deeper than a Swedish massage and can break up connective tissue adhesions. This type of massage is best applied to acute injuries to help prevent stiffness and preserve range of motion.

PUSH Therapy — PUSH Therapy is a specialized form of muscle therapy that was specifically designed to relieve chronic tension. PUSH applies soft tissue stimulation to relax the muscles and allow for better blood flow which increases oxygen, nutrition and waste removal. This kind of therapy can help relieve a variety of ailments.

Sports Massage — Sports Massage will support optimal performance through its detoxifying and rehabilitative effects. It incorporates deep tissue and neuromuscular techniques as well as engaging the client actively in the massage with accustretches and muscle energy techniques

Schooling and Credentials — Julie is a graduate of the Colorado School of Healing Arts 700-hour massage therapy program. She received her certification in June 2002, and went on to obtain certification in Lymphatic Massage and PUSH Therapy.

A little bit about Julie — Julie is a native to the beautiful state of Colorado. She grew up in Arvada, went to college at CSU and has been living in Littleton for the past 18 years. She loves hot yoga, hiking, and spending time with her friends and family.

In 1997 Julie herniated a disk in her lower back. It was the years of physical therapy, massage and chiropractic sessions that steered her in the direction of massage therapy. Julie really has a passion for her work and loves helping her clients improve their well-being.
